Android 4.4.4 KitKat Antitheft feature (The Kill Switch Machine)

Lately Google has addressed many key areas regarding security on our Android smartphones and tablets, and the new version of Android introduces the biggest feature yet."THE KILL SWITCH MACHINE" .
The Android Device Manager has evolved into a pretty impressive tool for tracking, locking, or finding lost and missing devices, but that still doesn’t help when a smartphone get stolen. Google has added a new anti-theft measure right into the Android operating system, similar to Apple’s iPhone The new “kill switch” which is also a bill in congress, could help fix many theft problems.
According to Bloomberg the version of Android introduces this kill switch, in what the company called a “factory reset protection solution.”but now we are) or if they’ll take the same approach as Apple, but either way security is about to get a lot better, and this should be a theft deterrent.
We’re were not exactly sure what that means,(
The new measure by Google prevents thieves from simply wiping an Android device in settings (or through Android ADB) and using it themselves or selling it.This new kill switch will can essentially wipe the device, and lock it. Meaning the users data is safe AND the device can’t be used by someone who stole it.
In some new devices this new feature isn’t included, maybe the manufactures forgot or simply didn't include it for their own reasons.
Looking deeper into android antitheft.
The feature comes with some commands which can be initiated after activating the feature and setting the mobile numbers you can use when in need. in my review phone the max numbers should be 3. preferably you should use numbers for
your trusted friend or most accessible one in case you want to send a command to your phone. setting that up is easy and a backup of the command will be sent to the numbers via sms. The command message is not changeable and will only work if sent by the trusted numbers you saved.
an example of the commands in my review phone(which will be same in all models with the same manufacture)
                            #suoding to lock
                            #mima# forgot password
                            #seryu# clear data
